Itsy Bitsy knitwear is completely handcrafted using fine quality
materials. All adornments are meticulously placed and sewn on by
hand. All of the items are completed in my own studio in Wasaga
Beach, Ontario, Canada.

Turtle Hat
|
To liven
up this simple bottom ribbed hat, I have added these little
crocheted turtles with colourful embroidery on top. (Choose
the colour for your hat and a mix of colourful turtles will
be added on. The number of turtles will depend on the size
of the hat. ) |

Frog Hat
|
To the
top of this rolled-brim hat I've added a hand knit frog.
Each frog is unique and has it's own characteristics.
To tie in the colour of the frog to the rest of the hat
I've added dashes of green along the bottom of the band.
The base of the hat can be knit in any colour, the choice
is up to you! |

Rolled-Brim Hat with Criss-Cross Band
|
This basic
rolled-brim hat has been livened up by the addition of a contrasting
white band that is bordered with a row of purl stitches on
either side. Within the band is a series of embroidered criss-cross
markings. (Also available with matching sweater.) |

Rolled-Brim Hat with Knotted Top

This basic
rolled-brim hat was brought to life with contrasting bands
of colour and flat and raised stitches. It was topped off
with a knotted cord. |

To liven up this simple ribbed
hat, I have added a slithering snake, coiled around the
entire hat. Two seed beads are used as eyes, a second colour
yarn was used for markings on its back and a red tongue
coming out of its mouth. |

Girls Hats
Interchangeable Accessory Hats

These hats
are my newest creation! It’s perfect for little girls who
want to mix and match their clothing. The base of this hat
has an all over eyelet pattern with a ribbed edge and for
an added touch of glitter it has a beaded picot edge. To accessorize
the hat you can choose from a variety of knitted and crocheted
flowers, butterflies, medallions…with beaded accents. The
accessories are fastened with large snaps to the hats brim.
(Just pick your base colour and whichever accessory suits
your fancy! One accessory is included with the hat.) |

This is a lazy daisy style knitted flower with a crocheted
centre and beaded detail.

Rainbow Hat
|
I had a
request from my daughter's friend for a 'Rainbow Hat'
with jewels. This is the hat that she chose! It has a
beaded picot edge and is knit in muted bands or rainbow
colours. To add that bling that she requested, I've added
a crystal daisy flower to the top with coloured beads
for the centre. |

Chloe's Hat

My 5 year
old daughter Chloe asked to design her own hat. She sketched
her ideas and picked her colours. (I have to say I was
a little skeptical of her choice of colours.) This is
my interpretation of her design and you know what, I kind
of liked it! The ribbed band is alternated with medium
pink and white. The rest of the hat is knit with different
bands of colour and it has a lot of texture with the purled
bands and bobbles. The thing I really liked about this
project is it is something truly unique and it includes
a colour combination I never would have thought of. Great
job Chloe!

Pixie Hat

This delightful
hat can be made with many different colours using a very soft
blend of 80% Bamboo and 20% Wool. For extra warmth and style,
it incorporates earflaps and it is lined with fleece. The
hats are embellished with different patterns and beads and
are outlined with a contrasting yarn. The hat is finished
with tassels on top and at the ends of the ties. |
